Seaside Boys Volleyball History & Alumni

Seaside History

Founded 1989

Seaside Volleyball Club has been a part of the community for over 20 years. Founded by Coach Fred Featherstone, who was recently inducted into the California Community College Men's Volleyball Hall of Fame, Seaside is considered one of the most well respected boy’s volleyball programs in the country.

Seaside alumni include over 300 collegiate volleyball athletes, 36 Junior National All-Americans, three 2008 Olympic Gold Medalists, three 2012 Olympians, and two 2016 Olympians.

Seaside Volleyball Club is one of the most well decorated clubs in the nation. Over 300 Seaside alumni have continued on to play collegiate volleyball. Included among these distinguished alumni are the following athletes voted in the year shown as Junior National All-Americans.
